The Cranbury Lions should feel good about
the service we provide the youth in our community. Twelve Cranbury Lions participated in the
joint Lion & PTO Pumpkin Carving Family Event at the Cranbury School. There were about 100 pumpkins judged for the
contest and many more were not even entered in the contest. It was a fun evening for ALL who attended. I
know that I can speak for all the Lions who attended the meeting with the
Jamesburg Leos to honor them for their Leo Club Excellence Award; it was very
rewarding to see the Leo's run a meeting with so many guests. I encourage all the Lions to help the Leos
with their fundraiser for breast cancer research by purchasing a key chain or
bracelet. There will be some items for
sale at our November meeting. Cranbury
middle school students are busy creating their Peace Posters. All Lions and their spouses are asked to come
to the Peace Poster Dessert Meeting at the Large Group room in the Cranbury
School on November 20th. The
program is to honor the young artists for their creations. All peace posters will be displayed. This is a great time to interact with the
youth and their parents.
Yours in Service, President Fay
